Short Story
Explore Again is a bold call to high performers to wake up from autopilot, challenge the comfort that’s quietly killing their potential, and design a life that actually lights them up. Blending raw personal stories, science-backed insights, and tactical tools, it’s a guide to midlife reinvention that doesn’t involve retiring, but reigniting.
Explore Again
My name is Mike Enos, and I wrote this book because, after two decades climbing the corporate ladder and being an executive, I realized I was living someone else’s definition of success. I had all the titles but none of the fire. So I walked away – with no backup plan – because I knew there had to be more.
My hope is that Explore Again helps you realize it’s never too late to reinvent your life and that the second half can be the most alive, intentional, and fulfilling chapter yet. This book is your roadmap to challenge comfort, test limits, and build a life that fits who you are now – not who the world told you to be.
In this book, you’ll learn:
- How to trash the traditional script of success and write your own.
- How to use neuroscience and psychology to create lasting change.
- Why peak performance after 50 isn’t a pipe dream, it’s the point.
- How to stop overthinking and take fast, imperfect action.
- Why embracing a beginner’s mindset is the fastest path to growth.
You’ll love this book if you’re successful on the outside but restless on the inside. If you’ve ever looked around and thought, “There has to be more,” this is your permission slip to go find it and the roadmap to get there with intention and fire.
Explore Again is a nonfiction book for high performers and midlife professionals who are rethinking success, seeking deeper purpose, energy, and alignment. It’s for those ready to make the second half of life the most meaningful part of the journey.
